SessionBox extension allows you to securely and anonymously manage unlimited active web browsing sessions.
This guide will showcase how to set up Oxylabs Datacenter and Residential Proxies with the SessionBox extension and Workstation.
Step 1. Download the SessionBox extension for Chrome or Opera. For Firefox, visit the official website and click Install in the top-right corner.
Step 2. Open the add-on, create a new account or log in, or continue without it.
Step 3. Click the three horizontal lines to open a menu, and choose Settings.

Step 4. Navigate to the Proxy tab and click Add New to create a profile.

Step 5. Name your profile and enter the following details.
Type: HTTP, HTTPS, or SOCKS5
Address: pr.oxylabs.io
Port: 7777
You can also use random or sticky country-specific entries. For example, if you enter us-pr.oxylabs.io under Address and 10000 under Port, you’ll acquire a US exit node.
If you enter 10001 under Port, you’ll receive the US exit node with a sticky session. You can find a complete list of country-specific random proxy entry nodes here and a list of sticky proxy entry nodes - here.
Configuring Residential Proxies
Specify the following if you purchased Dedicated Datacenter Proxies via sales.
Type: HTTP or SOCKS5
Address: a specific IP address (e.g., 1.2.3.4)
Port: 60000
For Enterprise Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, you’ll have to choose an IP address from the acquired list. Visit our documentation for more details.
Specify the following if you purchased Dedicated Datacenter Proxies via the dashboard.
Type: HTTP or HTTPS
Address: ddc.oxylabs.io
Port: 8001
For Self-Service Dedicated Datacenter Proxies, the port indicates the sequential number of an IP address from the acquired list. Check our documentation for more details.
Type: HTTP
Address: dc.pr.oxylabs.io
Port: 10000
You can also use a country-specific entry. For example, entering dc.ca-pr.oxylabs.io under Address and 34000 under Port will acquire a Canadian exit node. Please refer to our documentation for a complete list of country-specific entry nodes.
Step 6. Scroll down the same window to enter your Oxylabs proxy user username and password, then Save the settings.
NOTE: You can create and manage your proxy users in our dashboard.
Step 7. Once you add the proxy, you must assign it to a new session. Visit any website and open the add-on again. Click the New Stored Session button.

Step 8. A new tab will open. Navigate to the add-on again, click the three dots next to your new session, and select Settings.

Step 9. Go to the Other tab and select your created profile under the Proxy section.

That’s all! You have set up Oxylabs proxies with the SessionBox extension.
Step 1. Visit the official product page, click Install in the top-right corner, download the setup, and install it. Use your login details to log in or create a new account.
Step 2. Once logged in, click the three dots in the top-right corner.

Step 5. Name your profile and add proxy details as specified before. Once you fill in the details, click Save.
NOTE: You can create and manage your proxy users in our dashboard.

Step 6. Check which country your session is connected to by clicking the Name of your proxy profile found on the right side of the search bar.

Step 7. To access additional proxy settings, click on the three dots and select General Settings. A new window will appear, allowing you to adjust the use according to your needs.

That's it! You have successfully integrated Oxylabs proxies with the SessionBox workstation.
