We are happy to announce that, similarly to our previous OxyCons, OxyCon 2022 has garnered a lot of attention from industry leaders and the web scraping community alike. Now, it’s time to reveal the precise plan of what you’ll find in the two-day event, happening from September 7-8th.
Like last year, the sessions will be guided by our very own Gabija Fatėnaitė, Event and Product Marketing Team Lead and Vaidotas Šeidys, Head of Risk Management. Therefore, don’t hesitate to ask questions, as both Gabija and Vaidotas will aim to help the speakers answer all your inquiries.
For a full schedule, check out the OxyCon page.
OxyCon 2022 will have three core topics:
The world of public data collection for businesses
Overcoming scraping challenges as a developer
Scraping infrastructure management and solutions
All presentations will fall under one of the following topics. Do note that the timings of each presentation are in the British Summer Time (BST) zone, which is London time, or UTC+1.
To make the participation process as accessible as possible, we’ve allowed you to join any and all sessions.
During OxyCon 2022, everyone who registers will be able to communicate through a specially set Slack workspace. There will be four dedicated channels, most focusing on announcements and conference information. However, a single channel will solely focus on networking and interacting with the speakers and other industry professionals.
Before starting, be sure to update your profile information. Please use your real name and your company and upload your profile picture. More information about setting up your profile and using Slack can be found here.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and interact during the event. Furthermore, to avoid getting your participation overshadowed, moderators Gabija and Vaidotas will ensure that your questions reach the speakers.
Mark September 7-8th on your calendars. If you haven’t already, register now, and right before the event, you’ll receive a unique login code and the link to the conference. Don’t miss out on two days of memorable discussions and thought-provoking talks with some of the top industry-leading data-gathering experts.
